Birthday Party

Tonight we went to my little cousin Casey's birthday party. He turned 3 today. I just love little kid birthday parties. He was so cute opening presents and blowing out candles. The best part was blowing bubbles and yes I had to join in. Here are some snap shots from the party.

Fall is on the Way

Today I went to the famous Wal-Mart where many of us probably spend way to much time and money at. Anyways it reminded me of how much I love the fall. I like to decorate and they had all their fall decorations out. It also made me start thinking about the mountains and the leaves changing colors. Each year we usually take a Saturday in the fall and ride up through the mountians. I can't wait to go again this year. I planned to show some more sweet pictures of my sweetheart from our trip last year but this computer does not want me to today. This is probably boring but so am I. This is all I could think about to blog about today.

Updated 9/6/08: My sweetheart helped me figure out what I was doing wrong with the pictures.

Newly Engaged

I got engaged early Saturday morning (8-9-08). When I say early I mean early. He made me go walking on the beach at 6am. Although it was early it was really sweet. He started by just walking normally down the beach toward the pier. I thought the ring might be coming and he was going to propose at the pier but when he turned around before we got to the pier I lost all hope of being proposed to at the beach. He kept saying he was wanting the sun to some up but it was cloudy. So all of a sudden he made me stop and turned toward me and hugged me. Then he pulled out the ring I gasped and started crying and so did he. He then went on to say his back hurt and he couldn't get down on one knee and I immediately said "but you have to" and he did. When we turned around to head back we then noticed that the sun was beginning to come out. I was so happy that I could hardly walk straight. I smiled and giggled all the way back to the condos to show our parents. It was so sweet and I am still glowing in excitement so you may hear about this for a while!
